Joan Ragland is the Instructional Technology Specialist for Hudson ISD.    Joan began her teaching career in the fall of 1971 as a self-contained 7th grade teacher at Apple Springs ISD.  In 1977, she joined the faculty at Hudson Middle School as the 7th Grade Science teacher.   During her tenure at Hudson she has taught Life Science, 7th Grade Math,  Integrated Studies and served as the Science & Social Studies Curriculum Specialist  until her current position as  Instructional Technology Specialist for the District.

Mrs. Ragland enjoys sharing her love of learning with students, co-workers and peers.  She has presented at numerous local, state and national conventions  and events.......from East Texas to Washington, D.C. to Wisconsin, to San Francisco and stops along the way.

She is the proud mother of a son, a daughter and three grandchildren.
